Crews from Acomb and York were called out to a house fire last night (Thursday).
They were responding to reports of a fuseboard on fire in the home on Stuart Road, Acomb at 8.11pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The crews found the fire out upon their arrival and inspection the premises using a thermal imaging camera.
“The electrics was safely isolated and advice was given to occupants to call an electrician.”
