A crash that caused rush hour problems on a main road near York this morning has now been cleared (Monday).
It was on the A1079 at Kexby.
Early on Monday morning, the AA said it was “partially blocked and slow traffic due to crash on the A1079 westbound from Long Lane to Dauby Lane.”

It was causing “severe delays” on the road from Kexby to beyond Wilberfoss.
Now, however, the crash has been cleared and traffic is getting back to normal.
