It’s everyone’s worst nightmare… A cat. Trapped in a chair.
This was the calamity that befell one family in Ripon last night (Saturday).
Fortunately, firefighters were on hand to come to the rescue, after they got the call at 11.53pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Ripon crews responded to a cat trapped in a chair mechanism at a residential property.
“Crews released the cat using small tools and left it in the care of its owners.”
