Casualty cut free after van crashes onto its side near York

Emergency services were called to a crash in a York village this afternoon (Sunday).

One fire crew was sent to the incident on Pear Tree Lane, Dunnington at 3.10pm.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The crew were mobilised to a report of a van on its side.

“Crews used e-draulic equipment to remove a casualty from vehicle.”
