A car crashed in icy conditions in Ryedale this morning (Saturday).
Emergency services were called to the incident, on Thornton Lane, Thornton-le-dale, at 8.55am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Kirbymoorside and Malton responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision in which a car had slid on ice and left the road.

“All occupants were out on arrival of the crew and in the care of the ambulance. No fire service action was required.”
