There have been several criminal incidents on the North Yorkshire coast in one night.
They took place last night, 19th July; one at 11.18pm at a property on Grange Avenue. A car rammed into the house. An engineer and assessments are needed to determine the level of damage.
The second took place at West Street in Scarborough, where another property was damaged.
Thankfully no-one was physically harmed in either incident.
A man aged 27, a boy aged 17, and two women aged 44 and 51 have been arrested in connection with these incidents and currently remain in custody.
It is believed these are linked and targeted events, no wider risk to the community has been identified.
