Police were called after a car hit a York building last night (Saturday).
It happened at 9.34pm on St Andrewgate.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from York liaised with police at scene of a scaffolded building which had been struck by a car which had then left scene.

“The area was made safe and taped off. Police will arrange for possible building damage assessment.”
