Firefighters were called out to a car fire near York last night (Tuesday).
A York fire crew responded at 5.46pm to the incident on the B1222 near Naburn.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to put out the flames.
They then helped highways officers to clean fuel from the road.
