A man attacked a boy on a York bus who had to go to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
It happened on the 5A First York bus at about 8pm on Saturday (31 January), near the Haley’s Terrace stop.
The man assaulted the boy who was taken to hospital with swelling and bruising to his face.

The suspect is described as
- black
- approximately in his 40s
- around 6ft tall
- with black hair.
He was wearing a dark green fleece and dark trousers.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information about the incident and for any witnesses.”
