A bin was set on fire near a bus stop in York last night (Wednesday).
Firefighters were called to the incident in Acomb at 8.18pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a small fire to a bin, near to a bus stop.
“Crews used a bucket of water to cool the area, where the fire was out on arrival. The cause was deliberate.”
