Another shed went up on flames at a York allotment last night (Wednesday).
Huntington and Tadcaster crews were called to reports of a shed well alight on the Scarcroft allotments at 7.07pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The cause of fire is unknown at this time. The shed was destroyed by fire. Crew used a hose reel.”

It comes after a number of arson attacks on York allotments.
In November, Mickleward councillor Johnny Crawshaw said at least 13 sheds had been burned down.
He told a council meeting: “We believe strongly that these are young people that are setting these fires and the ingredients are there for an absolute catastrophe to happen that will ruin a whole number of lives.”
The previous month, police urged parents to be vigilant after arson attacks on York allotments.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: ““We are aware of issues with a group of youths committing arson and taking part in anti-social behaviour around the Scarcroft Road Allotments and Hospital Fields Allotments, York.
“Please could we ask for people with children that you are aware of where your children are on an evening.”.
