A 25-year-old man will appear in court tomorrow (Saturday) following the report of a stabbing in York.
It happened outside the Moxy Hotel in the Peasholme Green area on Thursday.
Police say he’s been charged with a section 18 wounding and two counts of possessing a bladed article.
Detective Superintendent Graeme Wright from North Yorkshire Police said: “Although the victim still remains in hospital, I’m pleased to say that he is recovering well from treatment.
“I would like to thank the public for assisting with our enquiries following the appeal made on Thursday.
“This was an isolated incident and there is no wider threat to the community.”
Peasholme Green was shut for several hours earlier this week as police carried out their enquiries.
