Police searching for a teenage girl who was missing from home with her puppy said on Friday that she’d been found.
An appeal was launched after the 15-year-old from the Northallerton area was last seen on CCTV at Darlington Station at 1.15pm on Wednesday.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Her family have been unable to contact her ever since and we’re growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.”
On Friday, they issued this update: “A missing 15-year-old girl has been found safe.
“Yesterday we appealed for information about her. She had last been seen at Darlington Station with her puppy.
“She and her puppy were found safe and well last night.
“Thank you to everyone who responded to the appeal.”
