Firefighters were called to several fires started deliberately in a York woodland last night (Sunday).
A crew was called to the woods off Grange Lane at 6.15pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Youths deliberately set several small fires in protected woodland.
