A group of youths started a fire outside a store at a York shopping centre last night (Saturday).
Firefighters from Acomb went to the incident at Clifton Moor at 7.48pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a group of youths who had set a fire outside a department store.
“On arrival crews extinguished using one hose reel jet.
“The fire consisted of several bags of kindling.”
