Firefighters were called to put out a fire in a York park last night (Wednesday).
They got the call to West Bank Park at 7.09pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The Acomb crew attended after a report was received stating youths had been seen setting a fire in a wooded area.
“The crew accessed the fire measuring 2m by 2m and extinguished using back pack sprayers.”
