Fire crews carried a young person trapped in their room to safety through the window.
The rescue happened at 7.14pm yesterday (Saturday) on Regent Street.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Harrogate responded to a young person trapped inside a bedroom after a door malfunction.

“They were released and carried out from the bedroom window safely. Advice was given to the parent to seek advice for an emergency repair by their landlord.”
