York theatre to welcome acclaimed comedian in new tour

Comedian Olga Koch has announced her 2021 UK tour dates – and will be making a stop in York.

The Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee will be performing her new show Homecoming at Theatre@41 on Friday 8 October 2021.

The show will ask the question about where is home and what it means to belong. Homecoming ‘will see Olga try to figure out who on earth she is as an immigrant and certified teen drama queen.’

Olga commented: “After various attempts to bring this show to life, I (a standup comedian who hopefully hasn’t forgotten how to do standup) cannot wait to bring this feel-good extravaganza to an audience (who hopefully hasn’t forgotten how to laugh).”

The Russian-born comic has received much acclaim and accolades, including being nominated for the Best Newcomer Award at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Olga has also made many TV appearances such as panel shows like QI and Mock the Week.
