Police are hunting a man who attacked a woman on a York street.
It happened between 1.45am and 1.55am last Sunday, 5 July, close to Acomb Funeralcare on Gale Lane.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A lone female was approached by a male who punched her to the head without warning or reason leaving the victim dazed.”
Incident location
The attacker is described as:
- a white male
- of slim build
- in his 60s
- wearing a cap
- a checked shirt with a white T-shirt underneath
- and he potentially had glasses on.
Police ask anyone who recognises this description, who lives in the area and has CCTV, who witnessed the incident or was driving in the area or has relevant information to contact them.
