Police are investigating a road rage incident on the York Outer Ring Road.
It happened on the A1237 next to Tesco at Clifton Moor on Wednesday (18 March) at about 8.30am.
The vehicles involved were a white BMW and a black Audi.
Incident location
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The victim reports being punched in the face while seated in their vehicle, following earlier exchanges between the parties.
“At this stage, no further details can be released.
“However, officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the altercation or who has any dash‑cam or CCTV footage from the area at the time.”
