A York man became stuck as he decorated his home for Christmas.
The man was installing festive lights on the roof of a house in Hornbeam Close, Clifton Moor, when his ladder fell.
It left him stranded.

Happily, Huntington firefighters responded at 12.12pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The crew used the occupier’s ladder to help the male down from the roof.”
