A York man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
Dean Barker, 42, was arrested following an incident on Tudor Road, Acomb, on Friday (29 May).
He appeared at York Magistrates’ Court today (1 May) when his case was sent to the Crown Court.

Mr Barker is also charged with:
- causing actual bodily harm
- criminal damage
- and having an offensive weapon in a public place, allegedly a baseball bat.
Mr Barker, of Tudor Road, Acomb, will next appear at Leeds Crown Court for a plea hearing on 29 June.
He was remanded in custody until then.
