
Police are appealing for witnesses after a York footballer was knocked out by a punch in the face from an opponent.
The incident happened at the end of a five-a-side match at York Sports Village in Heslington, on Tuesday September 29.
Two local teams kicked off their game at 9.20pm.
Towards the end of the game, a 28 year old man from York was punched in the face and knocked unconscious by a member of the opposing team.
