A teenage girl got stuck in a child’s swing last night.
She was trapped and left with only one option – call the fire service.
Firefighters went to carry out the rescue on Main Street in Upper Poppleton at 7.26pm last night (Thursday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb assisted a 13 year old girl who had become trapped in a child swing.
“Crew power only used to assist female from the swing.”
