York child trapped in bath seat rescued by firefighters

A young child became stuck in a bath seat last night (Wednesday).

Firefighters were called in to help at the home on Acomb Road, York at 7.48pm.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The Acomb crew responded to an infant trapped inside a bath seat.

“Crews were able to safely remove the infant using crew power only. No injuries were reported and the incident was left with both parents.”
