Pavement maintenance work is underway in Thirsk Market Place
It will take place between 7:30am and 4pm and to minimise disruption to local businesses, will be carried out in manageable sections, says North Yorkshire Council.
The work will progress until autumn. It will then pause during the colder temperatures, which will prevent the installation of new paving.
The town remains open for business and disruption will be kept to a minimum we are promised.
