Police are investigating after a woman was knocked unconscious in York city centre.
The assault happened at around 5am on Thursday 21 May on the junction of High Ousegate and Nessgate.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “An investigation has already been launched and we are now trying to identify this woman as part of our enquiries.”
