A woman has been charged after a police operation in Scarborough.
Officers from the town’s Neighbourhood Policing Team arrested a 46-year-old woman on Saturday (11 July) after they found a knife during a drug search.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The officers came across the woman in St Nicholas Gardens whilst on dedicated proactive patrols of the town centre.
“The woman has been charged for the possession of the knife and a Class B drug. She will be attending Scarborough Magistrates on Thursday 30 July.”
