The spirits are stirring ahead of Halloween…
One particularly perky poltergeist has been at work in Popworld in York. Or so it seems from this video.
It appears to show a chair moving across the George Hudson Street bar on its own.

Staff posted the CCTV footage on Facebook, saying: “Well that’s the last time our manager does a delivery on his own! Even the ghosts of Popworld Know Halloween is around the corner.”
Not everyone was convinced it was a supernatural occurrence however. “Someone stood behind the bar with some string tied to the chair leg,” said one cynic.
Perhaps the ghost walkers of York need to pop in to Popworld to sort this mystery out…
