The King is back in York today (Tuesday).
King Charles is visiting several places on his itinerary.
He has toured the York Biotech Campus in Sand Hutton.
There he saw a conservation initiative to humanely control grey squirrel numbers and support the endangered red squirrel population in the UK.
It was developed by the Animal Plant and Health Agency (Apha) at the campus.
Then, this lunchtime the King is at York Hospital.
He’s the patron of Macmillan Cancer Support, and was visiting the redeveloped Sir Robert Ogden MacMillan Cancer Centre at the hospital.
Around £2.4 million has been invested in the centre, described by the hospital as a “welcoming holistic space” including its own green space.
