A car ended up upside down in a ditch in a crash last night.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Northallerton Road, Thirsk, at 11.10pm.
The vehicle had driven 50ft into trees on the side of the road, landing in the ditch. No other vehicles were involved.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The driver was out of the vehicle and uninjured prior to fire crews arrival.
“Fire crews located the vehicle using torches and confirmed no further casualties were present.
“The incident was left in the hands of police and ambulance crews.”
