Police who were searching for two girls missing from their homes in York say they’ve been found safe and well.
The girls, aged 12 and 13, went missing since yesterday evening (Wednesday).
Police issued a public appeal this morning. Shortly before 2pm they issued this update: “Earlier today we shared an appeal to find two missing girls from York.
“We’re pleased to report that they have both been found safe and well in the last few minutes.
“Many thanks to everyone who shared the appeal.”
