Police have issued a positive update about a boy from York who went missing.
The boy, aged 16, hadn’t been seen since leaving his home at 1.30pm yesterday (Wednesday).
An appeal was launched to find him.
Shortly before 4pm, North Yorkshire Police put out this statement: “Today (Thursday 22 February) North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal to help find a missing 16-year-old boy from York.
“The force is pleased to report that he has been found safe and well and would like to thank everyone who shared the appeal.”
