Firefighters were called out after an incident in an historic corner of York.
They went to Coffee Yard, off Stonegate, at 12.51am this morning.
Coffee Yard is home to both the medieval townhouse Barley Hall and The Langton café bar.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from York responded to reports of water coming through the ceiling and affecting the electrics of a building.
“Crews isolated the water and advice was given.”
