Two MacBooks, an iPhone and vinyl LPs by Bull and The Kinks stolen from York home

Thieves got away with a big haul after burgling a York home in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

It happened on Eastward Avenue in Fulford between 3am and 7am on Sunday (1 January).

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for anyone who might have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time of the burglary and anyone who may know the whereabouts of any of the stolen items.”

Where the burglary happened

Among the items stolen were:

  • a red iPhone SE
  • two Apple MacBooks (one silver, one dark grey)
  • a black KanKan rucksack containing keys, diaries and earphones
  • a purse containing driving licence and bank cards
  • a waist bag containing small items including a green stone angel (roughly 2cm).
