Emergency services were called to a three-car crash last night (Friday).
They went to the collision on the westbound carriageway of the A64 near Tadcaster at 7.48pm.
Fire crews from Acomb, Tadcaster and York went to the scene
No one was trapped. One woman was taken to hospital “as a precaution”.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Firefighters made the vehicles safe including the cutting and winching apart of two Vauxhall cars which had stuck together due to the impact.”
