Two music 80s icons are coming to York next year.
Kim Wilde has announced her brand new ‘The Singles Tour’, which is heading to York Barbican on Sunday 28 March 2027, with support from Tiffany.
Kim Wilde has graced our screens and stages for four and a half decades, and continues to delight audiences worldwide.
With her brother and co-writer Ricky and their family band, Kim consistently tours her celebrated up-tempo synth pop hits from the rebellious ‘Kids in America’ debut to the heart felt ‘Never Trust a Stranger’, ‘Keep Me Hanging On’ and ‘You Came’.
A chart-topping Brit award winner, Kim grew up in London, the daughter of 1950’s rock n roll legend Marty Wilde. Kim and her brother Ricky penned hit after hit throughout the 80’s and continue to release new music.
Kim has supported Bowie and Michael Jackson, been covered by Foo Fighters and fellow 80’s chart topping princess Tiffany who joins her on the singles tour as support.
Both women are huge advocates for female empowerment and body image, having experienced the trials and tribulations of being in the media spotlight from their teenage years to midlife. Tiffany grew up with an alcoholic mother and supports mental health awareness and sobriety. Tiffany’s biggest UK hit, ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ was at number 1 for 18 weeks in 1988.
Kim Wilde Singles Tour will include performances of: Kids In America, Chequered Love, Water On Glass, Boys, Cambodia, View From A Bridge, Love Blonde, The Second Time, Rage To Love, Keep Me Hanging On, Another Step, Say You Really Want Me, You Came, Never Trust A Stranger, Four Letter Word, Love In The Natural Way, Love Is Holy, Heart Over Mind, If I Can’t Have You and many more!
