More problems for rail passengers tonight (Wednesday) – there are trespassers on the tracks at York.
Rail operator TransPennine Express said: “Due to trespassers on the railway at York all lines are blocked.
“Emergency services are dealing with the incident.
“We are currently looking into options to keep you on the move. If your train is cancelled or delayed, you may wish to postpone your journey until trains are running again or until alternative travel options are available.”
They said disruption was expected to last untl 8pm.
It follows problems on the York to Scarborough line caused by a fault with a level crossing this afternoon.
