Emergency services were called in to deal with a tractor fire on the A170 near Headlands Road, between Kirkbymoorside and Pickering, this evening (Mon 22 June)
As a result, visibility in the area was poor so police closed the road and told motorists to find another route.
The road is reported to have reopened now.
