There’s no business like shoe business…
A film crew with all the technical gubbins descended on York city centre this lunchtime (Tuesday).
It wasn’t for a movie blockbuster, or for a soap opera – but for a shoe commercial.
The crew was shooting scenes for an ad for Deichmann, inside the footwear shop’s Davygate branch.
The lights and cables were spread across the street, and quite a few shoppers and strollers stop to watch the filming.
Deichmann opened in York in 2020, in what was the Gap store.
