A teenage girl was assaulted on a York cycle path and police are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened between 9.35pm and 10.10pm on Saturday night (January 27) on the cycle path near Melrosegate by the flyover bridge.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said:
Enquiries are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Anyone who was in the area at the time is asked to contact police.
