Tang Hall shooting: Three arrests as armed police join the search

Police investigating the Tang Hall shooting have arrested three people.

Two men and a woman were detained by detectives, who say the ‘investigation continues at pace’.

It follows the discharging of a firearm into an unoccupied parked car on the driveway of Starkey Crescent at around 9.25pm on Saturday (7 March).

The man who fired the gun then ran off. Since then, police have been conducting widespread searches and house-to-house enquiries.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Extensive searches have been carried out over the past few days to locate the suspect and anyone connected to the incident.
