Police are investigating reports of suspicious activity in Thirsk.
It happened between 2.30pm and 2.50pm today (Thursday) in the area of the Hambo Shop on Hambleton Place.
Officers say a grey, transit-style van with a sliding side door was seen acting in suspicious circumstances.

A girl, believed to be around 16-years-old, was also seen nearby.
She’s described as
- of slim build
- 5ft 4in tall
- with long dark hair
- wearing black leggings and a
- white puffer-style jumper.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Anyone who saw the van, the girl, or has any information that could assist our enquiries is asked to come forward.”
