The North York Moors National Park’s first superfast EV chargers at Thornton le Dale car park are now installed.
The car park now features two dual-socket 75kW DC rapid chargers, providing four charging bays – including two accessible bays.
These new chargers expand the wider EV network to five Car Parks: Hutton-le-Hole, Newton under Roseberry, Sutton Bank, Danby Lodge, and now Thornton le Dale.
As superfast chargers they can charge up to 80% of a car in just 40 minutes.
A spokesperson said: “Thank you to the support from Zest for helping deliver another important step towards improving EV charging infrastructure across the National Park.”
