A colourful and vibrant celebration is coming to Pocklington this spring.
The annual Tulip Festival is back at Burnby Hall Gardens from Saturday 18 April to Saturday 9 May, and the popular event promises a fantastic array of colours for the season.

The Tulip Festival attracts thousands of visitors to Pocklington’s unique Gardens every year, and has been the winner of the Yorkshire in Bloom Gold Award.
The cascade of colourful flowers can be seen throughout the Gardens in tubs and flower beds.
Once again, the tulip display has been planned by head gardener Jill Ward, and is the culmination of months of preparation by herself and the gardening team at Burnby Hall Gardens.
“Every year, thousands of visitors come along to the Gardens to enjoy the spectacular variety of colours on display at our Tulip Festival,” said Peter Rogers, assistant estate manager. “It’s always a fantastic event.”
The Gardens are open between 10am and 5:30pm every day, with last entry at 4:30pm.
