Spark York have announced it will be opening on Mondays for the very first time.
The unique food, retail and events space on Piccadilly has revealed today (Tuesday) that it will be expanding its week-day offering – meaning it will now be open every day of the week.
And throughout the summer, visitors can expect an evolving lineup of exclusive Monday-only experiences.
Among the new initiatives is Analogue Mondays, taking place on the first and third Monday of every month. Designed as a dedicated digital-detox space, visitors will be encouraged to trade screen time for face-to-face interaction.
The bi-monthly events will feature phone-free zones, 90s hits, classic board games, collaborative co-working perks, rotating creative workshops and drop-ins, and even drinks discounts for friends who visit together.
Alongside Analogue Mondays, Spark will be rolling out curated industry perks specifically tailored to give back to York’s bustling hospitality crowd. If you work in hospitality, bring your payslip to the bar for 30% off all drinks.
They will also feature occasional secret menu items offering exclusive, limited-edition dishes from independent food vendors.
Spark is also extending its weekend opening hours. From 6 June, the venue will open an hour earlier on Saturdays, starting at 11am, with some traders offering dedicated brunch items.
