A signed and framed York City Football Club first-team shirt has been put up for sale to help raise vital funds for charity Age UK York.
The shirt, signed by members of the current squad, offers fans a unique opportunity to own a piece of the club’s record-breaking history while supporting an important local cause.
All proceeds from the sale will go directly to Age UK York, helping the charity continue its work supporting older people across the city through essential services, companionship initiatives, and community programmes.

Age UK York has been one of the newly promoted club’s nominated charities this season and has been thrilled with the support they have received from all the team.
Simon Holmes, chief executive for Age UK York, said: “During this title-winning, record-breaking season for York City Football Club, it has been an absolute privilege for our local Age UK York to be one of the club’s chosen charity partners this season.
“We’ve collaborated with the club on a range of schemes and activities, and a huge thank you to everyone on the team for being such exceptional ambassadors both on and off the pitch. It has been fantastic to witness their recent success firsthand. Partnerships like this truly make a difference and help bring the community together.
“The collectible signed shirt will be among the first items available on our new charity online shop. Along with our four physical shops across York, every donation made and every penny raised goes right back to supporting our local charity’s daily support to older people, and those around them, here across York.
“There could be no better way to launch this than with such a significant and iconic piece. Every contribution enables us to support more older people who may be experiencing loneliness, isolation, or financial hardship.”
The bidding for the shirt has begun via the charity’s eBay page.
