If you hear a lot of noise tonight (Thursday), don’t panic.
That’s the message for people living in the Fulford/ Bishopthorpe/ A19 area of the city from North Yorkshire Police.
“It is just a training exercise taking place in the area between 7.30pm and midnight,” police said.
“There should be no disruption to members of the public other than the potential for some noise.
“Thank you for your understanding.”
