A rescue operation is underway after a car drove into floodwater this morning (Friday).
Emergency services were called t the incident in Cattal, between York and Harrogate, at 6.43am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Harrogate and Acomb are currently en route to assist with a vehicle that has driven into flood water and become stuck with the river still inside.
