If you’re potty about pottery, this returning event is for you.
York Ceramics Fair is coming back to York Racecourse on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March 2026.
Curated by the Craft Potters Association, the 2026 fair will feature 72 exhibitors from across the UK, including 23 makers showing at York for the first time – showcasing functional, sculptural and decorative ceramics, all available to buy directly from the makers.
Alongside the main exhibition, visitors can enjoy an engaging programme of talks and demonstrations, offering insight into ceramic processes, materials and contemporary practice and enriching the overall experience of the fair.
This year’s programme will include demonstrations by Yorkshire artist Deiniol Williams, Ukrainian born Jaroslav Hrustalenko, and Michelle Young-Hares from Glasgow.
Simon, director of the Craft Potters Association, said: “York Ceramics Fair has built a loyal following by offering consistently high-quality work in a relaxed and friendly setting. It’s wonderful to welcome both returning and new audiences in the north of England, and to continue growing a fair that supports makers and collectors alike.”
Exhibiting artists for the 2026 fair include: Jin Eui Kim, Sharon Griffin, Emily Stubbs, Patricia Shone, Ben Arnup, Angela Verdon, Francis Lloyd-Jones, Carol Sinclair, Joseph Ludkin, Hannah Billingham.
Tickets for the event start from £7. To find out more and to book your tickets, visit the York Ceramics Fair website.
